Bangladesh mainly produces tea, rice, wheat, sugar cane, jute and its products, sugar, cotton yarn and soybean oil.
But in the local , the quality of wheat is not good quality as the ones from Canada, Australia and U.S.A.

Most of the big flour factory import the wheat from abroad. Such as India, Ukraine, Russia,Canada, Australia and so on.

In Bangladesh, there are standard inquiry for wheat flour.
Maida is a wheat flour from the Indian subcontinent. Finely milled without any bran, refined, and bleached, it closely resembles cake flour.
Indian all-purpose flour is known as Maida. Maida is used in many Indian flatbreads such as roti, naan, baalti. All-purpose flour or pastry flour found in United States is considered the best substitute for Maida. Our recommendation is use both or mixture of both depenbding on personal preference or recipe.
While making Maida, most of wheat grain bran, which contains fiber and other nutrients, and germ, which consist of vitamin E and polyunsaturated fat, are removed. The remaining wheat grain consisting endosperm containing carbohydrate. Thus, Maida may not be a good source of nutrition. For many recipe, maida can be substituted with Atta, which is whole wheat flour and contains more nutrition.
Maida is used extensively for making fast food, baked goods such as pastries, bread, several varieties of sweets, and traditional flatbreads. Owing to this wide variety of uses, it is sometimes labeled and marketed as "all-purpose flour", though it is different from all-purpose flour as commonly understood in the US.
Maida is made from the endosperm and it is developed from (the starchy white part) of the grain. The bran is separated from the germ and endosperm which is then refined by passing through a sieve of 80 mesh per inch (31 mesh per centimeter). Although naturally yellowish due to pigments present in wheat, maida is typically bleached, either naturally due to atmospheric oxygen, or with any of a number of flour bleaching agents.
While it is milled from winter, and wheat that has a high gluten content, heat generated during the milling process results in denaturing of the protein, limiting its use in the preparation of leavened breads.
Maida is used extensively in Central Asian and South Asian cuisine. Flatbreads such as Naan and Tandoori Roti are made using maida. Bhatoora is a fluffy, deep-fried, leavened bread made with maida and yogurt.
The famous Kerala Parotta is also made using maida.
Atta is Indian whole wheat flour used to make flatbread such as chapati, roti, paratha or puri. Traditionally fresh Atta were prepared at home by grinding wheat in homemade stone grinder known as Chakki. Atta has high fiber content due to high bran and also has high in gluten thus its doughs can be strong and rolled out very thin.
Atta consist of all parts of wheat grain. It has bran, which contains fiber and other nutrients (vitamins B, iron, magnesium, and phytochemicals), endosperm, which contains carbohydrate, and germ, which consist of vitamin E and polyunsaturated fat, remain. Atta is considered healthier than Maida, which has endosperm only, thus rich in carbohydrate.
Soojo or Suji is a type of flour made with durum wheat, a variant of wheat. In India, it is used to make many dishes, especially rava dosa, upama, halwa (a type of sweet pudding dessert).
In Bangladesh, most of the raw materials are mixer wheat : hard wheat and durum wheat.
The hard wheat can produce any purpose flour and durum wheat is for doing semolina.
The price of semolina is much higher in Bangladesh market than others.
So some customers always want to processing wheat into semolina, just semolina to get the high profit.
In 2017, Chinese government gave a lot of loan to Bangladesh for helping to develop the Economy and military.

In China , there is also for flour inquiry.It is the most commonly used raw material for baking, sucha as cake, bread, biscuits and so on, they are required to use flour, different flour in various baking foods in the role of some differences, but generally are "skeleton" role. To make baking, you need to know something about flour. Also the flour is used for steaming, it is steamed for making Mantao which is the main food in North China.
Flour categories: according to the content of protein classification, at present we usually divide the flour into three categories:
1, high gluten flour (strong gluten powder, high protein powder or bread powder), the protein content was 12%, 15%, wet gluten weight >35%. High gluten flour suitable for making bread, pastry cakes, pastries and other loose puffs.
2, low gluten flour (weak gluten powder, low protein powder or biscuit powder), the protein content was 7% 9%. Wet face weight <25%. Low gluten is suitable for making cakes, biscuits, cakes and other mixed cakes.
3. Medium gluten flour (all-purpose flour, medium protein powder) is a kind of flour which is between high gluten flour and low gluten flour. The protein content was 9% to 11%, and the wet gluten weight was between 25% and 35%. Medium gluten flour is suitable for making fruit cake and bread.
