Our hongdefa also sent engineers to Africa to install maize and wheat flour processing machines for the first time.

Expensive air tickets have put a lot of pressure on our Hongdefa customers. For the benefit of our customers, we Hongdefa decided to check the number of appointed engineers to reduce the customer's effort. The reduction in the number of engineers does not mean that the work will be reduced. On the contrary, the workload of the engineers will be greatly increased, but the decision is worthwhile.
Engineers need to apply for visas to Africa, and the embassy is very strict during this special period, which directly leads to the need for us to spend a lot of time obtaining visas.
Before taking a flight, engineers must do nucleic acid testing within 48 hours.
Time review is very strict, all we need to strictly enforce.
In addition, there are different requirements of various airlines.

When the engineers finished their work and were about to return home, another journey began.
We need to do nucleic acid testing locally with the help of our customers. After boarding the plane, you need to land in the transit country and do the nucleic acid test again. If the airport of the transit country does not have this capability, our engineers need to stay in the transit country for 3 days and 2 nights to wait for the test results.
The expenses in transit countries, such as accommodation, meals, testing, and transportation expenses, are all borne by Hongdefa.
At the moment the engineer landed in China, the airport bus will take the engineer directly to a specially isolated hotel for 14 days. After the quarantine, the engineer returned to his hometown and was quarantined in the hospital for 7 days before returning to his home.
All the above expenses shall be borne by hongdefa and the customer.

Because of the Corona Virus in the whole world, international traveling for our engineers became very difficult. The installation issue had to be postponed. But our communication never stopped. We supplied the foundation drawings and help the client to do the foundation work first.
The client begins the installation, we keep the communication with him all the time to give all the technical support by video meeting, calling, and other kinds of communication. Our aftersale service team with our technical team and engineers are always here to service the client.
We are so happy to see this 100t maize mill line finished step by step and the whole project is going well.
Now the machine is running very well and produces a very high-quality maize meal for the Kenya market. The client is very happy and we are so happy too.
We had a very great meeting and signed the contract directly and the client made the cash deposit for the 100t maize mill line.
At the same time, our factory in China begins the production for this 100t/24h maize mill line.

On Sep.29, 2019, Mr. Mohammad come to visit our factory in China to do the inspection of his 100T maize milling line.

He is very satisfied with the machine quality. He is preparing the balance payment arranging and we were ready for the delivery.
The promised balance payment time is the end of October. But some issues delayed the payment from Mr. Mohammad and we packed his order in our stock for some days.
And he planed to make the payment after the Chinese New Year in Feb 2020. Unfortunately, the Corona Virus epidemic suddenly burst in the January of 2020, both the Client and us have to wait to see the situation. We work at home and keep contacting.

Fortunately, in March the whole of China controlled the virus very well and we back to work in the office finally.
Our factory restart too and the whole factory did the complete disinfection and sterilization work.

Now the whole factory back to normal and having a bright new look. All the goods in our stock are ready for delivery.
On April.23, 2020 client finished the balance payment for this 100T maize mill and we prepared for the delivery issue and finished the COC certificate by SGS.

On May 2nd, 2020 we finished the 5 containers loading and then do the custom application in Tianjin port, China.

The final shipment date is May.11, 2020, then the containers left China and on the way to Mombasa Kenya. After confirming all the documents with the client, on May.22,2020 we send all the original documents by DHL to the client: B/L, commercial invoice, packing list, insurance.
After 45 days of shipping on the sea, the containers finally arrived Mombasa in at the end of June.

Zimbabwe is one of the oldest countries in Africa. It called Africa London or Africa granary. Zimbabwe is a great country with very nice people. we do business with Zimbabwe for more than 15 years for maize mill machines and wheat flour mill machines.

Since 2006, we set up our office in Harare, our Chinese engineer is always there.
In 2007, we set up a 120tons per day wheat flour mill project in Zimbabwe, and at that time we opened a bakery factory in the Msasa industry zone also. The wheat flour which is for making bread is from our flour factory. The bakery business is very good. There are long lines in the bakery every day and wait to buy the bread. Business is very good.

The economic environment is particularly bad. So we sold our bakery factory, and move the branch office to Lusaka, Zambia. But we still always do business with Zimbabwe people.
In 2015, we visited our old customers. Our engineers train and teach them how to fix the machines to get the best quality flour.
This is our oldest customers, who bought our machines in 2006 and run the machines in 2007. this customer is very famous in Harare even in Zimbabwe. |
